Post-Punk
Indietronica
Britpop
Psychedelic rock

Bands I love in each genre:

Arctic Monkeys
Talking Heads
LCD Soundsystem
Blur
The Doors

I guess to put it simply music has to sound real and thats something I've always been aware of even when I was a kid. I have no idea how most people listen to the music that they do, there's nothing real about it at all.

All sorts of music I guess - but I think originality is what I really love. When I listen to an artist I want to be listening to that artist - not just that genre.

But if I had to pick a genre, I'd go Alternative Rock.

My 5 fav genres would probably go: Hip-Hop, Jazz, Indie Rock, Psychedelia, Folk.

No particular order. Electronica would probably be a 6th.

The 90s were my decade. Most of my favorite bands (Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails, Tool, Rage, Third Eye Blind, CAKE, Blur, Beck, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sublime, Pavement, etc) had their heyday in the 90s.

I especially have a weird fascianation when it comes to that mid-late 90s alternative rock like Collective Soul, Better Than Ezra, Dishwalla, Eve 6, Soul Coughing, Verve Pipe, Wallflowers and other bands like that.
