I like this "game". I'll admit that RAM doesn't have a great order, but I can't say that that's the way to go. It still looks better than what was actually released though.

What if Goodbye Yellow Brick Road was one disc?

Side One ( 21:18 )
1. Bennie and the Jets
2. Jamaica Jerk-Off
3. Saturday's Alright for Fighting
4. Dirty Little Girl
5. This Song Has No Title

Side Two ( 22:11 )
1. Funeral for a Friend
2. Love Lies Bleeding
3. Grey Seal
4. Candle in the Wind
5. Goodbye Yellow Brick Road

I like the album as a whole, but I don't think the order is great, that and there's a few songs I don't like as much, so I picked out my favorites that I thought would fit well into a single-disc version. Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding is a great opener, but I always thought Bennie and the Jets would be a nice opener too. Also, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road seems like it could be a nice close.

If one was to do this with The Holy Bible and Everything Must Go how would it:

1. Sound good
2. Have a decent title. Everyway I can think of joining the titles together just sounds rubbish or convulted.

The second half of Miserable Lie, from The Smiths' self titled, is so hard to listen to it has to be skipped everytime. Other than that the album is perfect.

Shucks, I'm going to need to listen to some of these now.

I've always thought Urban Hymns is much too long and would work better like this:

1. Lucky Man
2. Bitter Sweet Symphony
3. Space and Time
4. Sonnet
5.Come On (Without the silence or hidden track)
6. The Rolling People
7. The Drugs Don't Work
8. Velvet Morning

There's some classics on that album but a tonne of filler.

Then take The Light dies down on Broadway, Grand parade..., The Colony of slippermen, In the rapids and It and release it as The Light dies down on Broadway EP.

Yup, that's what I would have done. Fuck the story, nobody cares about it anyway.
