I almost saw it live last Monday, as The Church played a gig for Canberras centenary for a few thousand people but I didn't go cause the traffic to get in was going to be horrible cause of all of the other events going on.

Really, the only albums I know that came from my brithtown of Sacramento are albums from Tesla and Cake.

I randomly looked way earlier for old forum subjects.... Anyway, for STL, Missouri/the greater metropolitan area my fave is March 16-20, 1992 by Uncle tupelo... Although I think that may have been recorded outside STL. Also ditto on kind of Blue, Miles was an East St. Louis native anyway!

Isn't that the capital? Gotta be something worthwhile. Hell where I'm from has a population of under 10k and I found a major label artist (although she kinda blows ass).

The only artist from Lakeville, MA that is even remotely known by anyone. And honestly she's not really known by anyone. She was actually signed to a major label which is a bit of a shock.

I've purchased 14 of their albums and have seen them live more than once.

The STYX concert that I saw in Milwaukee was my all time favorite concert.

I saw them outdoors in Nashville a few years ago but it was raining and I missed Dennis being in the band.

I have 2 STYX albums on my chart but could easily add 4 more and not feel one bit ashamed.

My favorite is Paradise Theater and have it at #27 on my chart
