Wal-Mart's name is asda over here and since i only pop in when i'm out to get a snack i really don't have an opinion on it.

good ole pick'aslave, i live by the new one in west milwaukee... the mexicans are flocking to it though.... :/... to bad we are'nt rich enough to move west, or southwest to the suburbs. 😢

Ya, a lot of people in Wisconsin shop at Pick A Slave. But I avoided that place and it's white hamburger meat.

I know they already fucked up NorthRidge and it closed. They also ruined, Mayfair, Capital Court, and others.

Right now they are probably fucking up the State Fair.

When you buy your fruits and vegetables from a fruitsfrom a stand down the street for example.

That 9/10 times does help the local economy.

Mooseboy, I remember life without Wal-Marts when I was a boy. When smaller towns had town squares with little local shops and when at Christmas time all of the stores had displays and lights.

A time when Mom and Pop could start a store relatively easy compared to today.

A time when on the corner of the block you had Joe's butcher shop and you bought your meat there and it was fresh and without MSG's like Wal-Marts.

A time when most everything said

MADE IN THE U.S.A.

On it.

But then came Wal-Mart. And it changed all of this, and not fore the better.

Just a store mooseboy.

Only reason I go to Walmart is for protein powder...produce sucks and prices are not as low as they were a few years ago.

Plus, nobody spoke English there at my last residence so it left a bad taste in my mouth.
