That's odd. I would expect more people to have the same opinion.

Oh that makes sense. I've paid for all my music... even though most of it is digital.

I would be dirt poor. Well, in my defense, most of the money for music I use is from my student financial aid.. so the government pays for my music. Ironic stuff, no?

Disagree with this statement. I think that "whatever the name of this album is" is pretty average. of course, it's understandable why someone would think what you think because that is the cases in a lot of cases.

OK Computer remains the only Radiohead album I've listened to.

The highest ranked album I haven't heard (which is NOT a Radiohead album) is "In The Aeroplane Over The Sea - Neutral Milk Hotel"

And I love Ozzy so I'm not bashing the guy. He's an excellent frontman but I just don't see him writing songs of the quality of those that appear on those first two solo albums, especially when you have guys like Randy Rhoads and Bob Daisley in the band. I'm willing to bet they did most of the writing. The other Sabbath members have said that Ozzy mostly just wrote the melodies for the Sabbath albums.

I'm aware that Ozzy has stated that several times. I've never denied that influence that The Beatles have had. Not once. But they just aren't for me. That being said, I always find myself asking, how much of his music did Ozzy actually write himself?

I also find myself asking the same question, just with Oasis.

i'll plan on doing so ... I'm currently working my way back through time trying a handful of albums every year. i'll start the 70s in the new year.

I like quite a bit of music from the 70's, but Zeppelin is the only band I truly love. In my opinion the absolute gold standard of rock music. Definitely try out at least II and IV, but really everything up until Presence is worth a listen.

I've been more on a 2000's binge lately, I noticed you've commented on most Death Cab albums. Listening to The Photo Album right now. Never gave them much of a chance until recently but they're pretty damn good.
