If I'm not mistaken, both Beach House and Animal Collective are from Baltimore (not hip-hop), but still notable. I seriously can't think of a hip-hop artist from Baltimore at this point though... they'll have them of course, but just no one big I suspect 😕

I got to thinking the other day about city safety statistics (I promise I'm 17) and I remember Baltimore was the lowest on one site. I got to thinking...if Compton and Detroit have a big rap scene....how come the Central Valley doesnt?...BUT MY SECOND THOUGHT WAS "Is there a good music scene or a good rap scene in Baltimore?"
I figured this was the best place to ask, you guys and gals and dinosaurs know any rap albums or just music in general from that area? 🤔
