What's The 411? Remix by Mary J. Blige

This is a pretty solid one. Puts the songs over harder beats with a few rap verses thrown in. I haven't heard the original front-to-back yet, because I bought this first for whatever reason and it kept me satisfied.

I ike Third Eye Foundation but I've never heard that. I can't wait to.!

And I agree about Fatboy Slim remix of I See You Baby by Groove Armada, which reminds me. Groove Armada's remix album of their own album Vertigo is probably the best of its kind.

And Tlegram by Bjork I agree is very good too

Nettle - Firecamp Stories! I never added it to the database here but it has so many great remixes from various corners of the idm scene, from cockrockdisco american breakcore shit (jason forrest (still using the name donna summer before he got the cease and desist), and ove naxx is from japan but he still fits in there), romz records japanese goofballs (com.a, joseph nothing) and globally based academic chin stroker types (hrvatski, leafcutter john). everybody took dj/ruptures amazing drum programming as a launching off point to really bring their own flair to it without totally losing the source material's greatness, solid stuff.

Speaking of hrvatski, rkk.13 is a remix sourced from his fake various artists compilation "attention: cats". really great document of all sorts of folks in the digital signal processing sort of computer-noise-but-with-drums-sometimes-kind-of scene from around then, dated, but in the best way.

there's more but those two have always held a special place in my heart.

The first remix album I heard, and still one of my favorites. I prefer several of these versions to the originals on the album.
