Hard to pin this one down as it clearly shows an evolution of songwriting and production styles. Where BOTW displays Simons command of working with a more colourful palette than before bringing in more pop sensibilities, South American folk styles and discovering his antigenic flair it maybe loses some of the beautiful simplicity of earlier works and despite its highs which are as high as he has been it is maybe not as consistent a work as he is capable of.

I voted for "Bridge...". It's their best, production-wise, I think. Their most coherent album, and the songs are mostly great. But then again, all their albums are superb, with the possible exception of the first one.

That's a hard question to answer. I'm always between "Bridge over Troubled Water" and "Sounds of Silence", but I think i'll go with the latter.

SOS is a masterpiece. They sum up S&G perfectly.

I'm new and unable to vote in the poll, but Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Thyme is the most disjointed, and for that reason I love it the most. The others feel cohesive, but that one feels like a collection of songs, all of which are just splendid.

No-brainer for me - BOTW.
I grew up with that album. But I have heard all their albums.
My next favourite is Sounds of Silence, which saddens me that so far it has got zero votes.
Personally I think Bookends is twee and overrated.

Exactly. You can't beat Rhymin Simon or his first album. Tons of great tracks on them. I'm not crazy about anything he did afterwards though. Although I know people love Still Crazy and Graceland.

Yes that was my issue with BOTW always. However, the good songs are so god damn good that it still has a place in my top 50. The Boxer is probably among my 10 favourite songs of all time.

BOTW for me but I really like Bookends too. BOTW has "The only living boy in New York on it", which I think is their most beautiful song. I feel like its probably their warmest and most fun album, but also poignant as well. It's full of ear-worms.

I went back and forth between BOTW and PSR&T, but I think I have to go with the latter.

Their arrangement of Scarborough Fair is beautiful, you've also got Homeward Bound which is just an incredibly-written and beautifully sad song, Dangling Conversation, For Emily, all kinds of great stuff.

When I was younger, I used to listen to Bookends back to back for hours on end. It's a bit of an odd listen at first (voices of old people etc), but it's a real grower. My favourite track on the album is Old Friends, but it also contains some of Simon & Garfunkel's well-known work. BOTW is a great listen as well, but for me it's not as cohesive as an album as Bookends.
