The voting hasn't even gone up for that matchup yet. It's only a meaningful mistake if it affects voting, so what you're pointing out is just a typo.

baystateoftheart, thank you, the first sparrings appeared and the general algorithm became clear.
But, as it seemed to me, the formation of these sparrings occurs without rules, by the will of the organizer.
But the organizer's idea of justice may well be these rules. 😄

Play-in rounds happened in the last album tournament as well. They also happen in sports tournaments such as March Madness. Play-ins occur when there are more entries than a bracket can hold.

Hallelujah, thanks everybody for voting, Noms are now CLOSED. It looks like we have slight excess of nominations, so we're going to go ahead and do a quick play-in round with the selections being the 4th choice of the last eight entries. Again, thanks everybody for nominating and hope we all have tons of crazy fun, should be a pretty breezy tournament since it's just songs, but we'll see (I have tons of time now thanks to the taxman)
