Yep voted Daughters. Love Beach House but prefer other cuts from 7.

And « Satan in the Wait » is the epic Swans-meet-BishBoschWalker of 2018.

Satan in the Wait by a mile. And actually, I think this works better as a stand-alone song than on the album, it's easier to digest.

Beach House is OK, but only.

Totally! Love 'em all.

Tough matchup but leaning towards Lemon Glow because that Daughters track drags a little bit in the middle which takes away some of its sinister edge. Love the aesthetics of it though for the most part.

yeah I think 7 makes a strong case as their best album yet. Personally I like it better than Bloom for sure. But my favorite Beach House album is still Depression Cherry. 7 might be my second favorite, but it's in close contention with Teen Dream. My favorite song by the band however is actually 'All Your Yeahs' off of Thank Your Lucky Stars.

Another tough match up as I liked both songs and both albums last year. but I rated and ranked the Daughters song and album higher then Lemon Glow and 7, and that still stands now so Daughters it is.

daughters retrograde replication of swans and oxbow is a little stronger than beach house's mediocre dream pop

i don't like either, but at least daughters is sonically interesting

Not overly keen on either, but it's still a pretty easy choice for Lemon Glow.

That said, Daughters seems to have potential and I may have to give the full album a spin to confirm or deny that hypothesis.

Lemon Glow, with ease, even with Satan In The Wait being one of the better cuts off that album.

I really like that Daughters album but I'm not sure any of the tracks from it really work on their own. They still got my vote over Beach House though because, the time I saw them live at a festival excluded, I've always found the latter to be a total snoozefest.

Yeah Lemon Glow continues the tradition of picking the fifth or sixth best song off a favored album, but it's still pretty strong regardless. Satan in the Wait is quite a tune if lacking much staying power (still find the whole Daughters thing overrated), but may still get the vote here.
