Good! I’v been feeling guilty about voting against them. Burnt it for our road trip & it is great! Those first three tracks in particular. My kids like them a lot better than Cream! 😁

This. With Historian my favourite from their collective discography that I've heard, but anything even vaguely post-punkish will likely win me over and I enjoyed the Silence Kit album, so Worry it is.

The real boygenius ranking is obviously Bridgers > Dacus > Baker but I won't argue about it unless you put Bridgers last. Anyway I'll take the catharsis of "I wanna be EMACIATED" over generic alternative rock any day of the week.

But the Silence Kit was better and I’ll have to listen to the whole album because I haven’t done that yet

Yeah, like others, I found Boygenius EP surprisingly overrated & a bit boring considering how much I like all the three artists involve. I keep waiting for it to click and it really hasn't just yet. Really LOVE Phoebe Bridges latest though - Better Oblivion Community Center - & it's in my top 10 for 2019 so far.

The Silence Kit track is pretty good 80s post-punk so will go with the underdog here.

Boygenius is good. Julien Baker is good. Phoebe Bridgers is good. Lucy Dacus is good. Me and My Dog is good ... But I'm already tired of these three. I vote for The Silence Kit.

yeah they havent found the right balance yet, but they are three of my favorite new songwriters that arent named anna burch
