Hey I love British Revolution. I work at Disney currently so I go to Epcot a lot in my freetime and ill watch them if I happen to walk by the UK and hear em...but the question is should they win a grammy?

rock will stay "dead" in the mainstream as long as recycled ideas continue to be praised. this is apparently what dad-rockers (who usually are the ones who claim rock..or music as a whole... is dead) want...a genre out of ideas stuck in the past just like they are.

it's one thing to appreciate music of the past (i love dad rock). it's another to want the music to be stuck in the past.

I would LOVE it if there was a modern band that sounded like Led Zeppelin AND were great. I loved Wolfmother when they came out and thought they were really good. Especially that first album.

Greta just sound staggeringly uninspired and lackluster though. 😕

As long as they are making money off of dad-rockers, Republic (Universal) will continue to let them make albums of whatever the hell they want. It's a market that their current roster does not cater to, so they were smart by signing them.

Do I have to post another video of Kingdom Come, a band that was also hailed as a next Zeppelin, but they are almost not known at all now?

While Wolfmother are certainly derivative, their source material is an amalgamation of early 70s hard rock/metal along with more recent influences. While Zep is obviously in the mix, it is no more so than a number of other bands, so I don't quite put them in the Zep copycategory.

Be real though, they're pretty damn close.

And as someone who's never particularly liked LZ in the first place, all I can really say is that Greta Van Fleet aren't as good.
