I have decided to support local musicians, trying to be one myself, and so I have picked up a few albums from them, and would suggest the following out of Provo, UT/Utah County:

Album/s
1. Mountain Sea by Desert Noises
2. Fictionist EP and Invisible Hand by Fictionist
3. Habits by Neon Trees
4. Night Visions by Imagine Dragons
5. The Brocks by The Brocks

and well, most people know about The Used.

Not a huge fan, but some of you might dig Royal Bliss.

Girl in a Coma, named after the Smiths song, is probably the most famous band in SA on the rise (still not that famous though); I'm not a fan

Butthole Surfers!!! I guess this might not be what the thread is for, but how could I support local music w/o supporting Gibby! Formed at Trinity University (where I go, and is also where the groups Jasper's Cast, Ronald Ray Gun, and Marcus Rubio go)

I know SA is mostly known for its metal scene, which I'm not familiar with, but I'll try to dig up some names and videos for the headbangers here
