this is my favorite song right now, it is 100 times better while listening with my ipod than in this vid, there are 2 different versions of it in this vid i am talking about the first version

Hmm....I think I would try it tonight.

I've only listened to the album up till Venus in Furs on headphones.

Disintegration by The Cure. The keyboards on that album are breathtaking. Especially on Plainsong and The Same Deep Water As You

Cream might be the worst band to listen to through headphones. Their albums are horribly produced.

Don't just listen through headphones...listen high if you can.

This is an underrated gem of a headphone album. It contains the FULL version of the Springsteen cover "Spirit In The Night" (far superior to the cover they did of "Blinded By The Light"), as well as a cover of Joan Armatrading's "Visionary Mountains". The US version also has a cover of Dylan's "Quit Your Low Down Ways".

Aside from the covers, the original songs are excellent. Mick Rogers is a great guitar player who gets incredible sound on this album, and enjoys great back and forth with Mann's keyboards. It alternates between instrumentals and lyrical songs all the way through. This album was made for headphones.

Don't know about the whole Abbey Road album, but Come Together definitely sounds awesome with head-phones on. A great album on head-phones is The Dark Side of the Moon: in fact, it was not until I listened to it on headphones that I really began to love it.

Loveless is a great choice for a headphones album. Also, Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada and Brian Eno's albums sound great on headphones.

Did I mention Radiohead's Kid A?

So your telling me to ckeckout Loveless. I like the Superunknown idea, thats a weird album for me. I like the songs but I've kept my distance for some reason. I can see the Black Hole Sun song sounding good on headphones.

Magical Mystery Tour sounds great with the way the sounds switch between each side of the headphones (specifically I Am The Walrus).

I'm sure this happens in some other albums too.

In my opinions, Kid A can ONLY sound good with headphones. 😕 Same goes for Loveless & Ágætis Byrjun, which are the major big ones.

Loveless is the obvious choice, but both Laughing Stock and Spirit of Eden are a close 2 and 3!

Headphones are a bit tough for me as I'm almost deaf in my left ear; however, The Beatles "Love" compilation is a very worthwhile headphone listen. Brilliant mixing.
