Dang, forgot the times during my graveyard shifts I used to listen to this album nearly every night. Fond memories. Definitely the close to a classic period for B&S.

Damn a tough matchup. Disconnect is groovy as hell, Another Sunny Day is a near perfect pop rock songwriting. Not sure who to vote for

I can appreciate some B&S, but that Plastikman track takes me someplace B&S never could. Plastikman.

Don't agree with that at all, but it's a very nice track of their's regardless even if there are a good number of 'em from the aughts I would've chosen before this one. Still "Disconnect" is a head-trip in the best way, even if it's not hard to see why it would have an uphill battle in any matchup as it's the textbook example of a song that can turn off as many listeners as it enthralls.

I like the Plastkiman song musically but I just cannot take those vocals and lyrics seriously. Voting for B&S.

The Plastikman track is good, but Another Sunny Day is the best Belle and Sebastian song of the aughts, and the keystone of their best LP of the aughts. Just perfect songwriting. Great lyrics, great hooks, great instrumental, great vocals.

There are a few Dear Catastrophe Waitress cuts that would've swung it for me (particularly the gorgeous 'If She Wants Me'), but Plastikman gets my vote here.

Of course B&S were better in the nineties but they also released some great tracks in the 2000s and this one of the best of that era so a very easy vote for them.

Man, "Disconnect" gets under my skin in the best way, Plastikman is one of the most truly underrated (and versatile) musicians out there. There are some Belle & Sebby songs that would make me pause before voting but this isn't one of the them. Plastikman.
