Yes, it's a good idea. It's on the list to add some kind of indicator on the My Charts page if there are suspect albums in any of the charts (similar issue reported a while back), and out of place albums in year/decade charts could be added in the same kind of way as it feels the same sort of issue. Email notifications can be a bit spammy so BEA needs to be careful how this is implemented (perhaps add the ability to opt-in/out if we go down the email route).
