It would take extraordinary circumstances for me to vote for Swans in anything (except maybe a "band that's least convincing when trying to sound scary" poll), but this actually isn't that bad of a song. I might have voted for it over a few other songs in this round even. It's up against an extraordinary song though so I'm sticking with Me & the Devil.

Deffo Gil, but if we're talking about aging soul singers who made contemporary comebacks on XL in the early part of the last decade, this song isn't quite on the same level as Bobby Womack's 'Please Forgive My Heart', which I really should've nominated.

Yeah Lunacy is aight, but I'd prefer to see a few other Swans songs from that era in the tournament (esp. A Little God in my Hands off their next album)
Me & The Devil is my favourite discovery of this tournament so far, so vote for Gil.

Love Gil, but Lunacy and Piece of the Sky are probably my favourite Swans revival songs. I went with Lunacy here since it's shorter and more single-like. Again, if it was the title track from I'm New Here vs Lunacy, that'd give me a proper headache.
