Dat iTunes, with careful elimination of some songs that I accidentally left on repeat for long periods of time, and also repeating artists because one song by My Bloody Valentine is enough:

1. Sports! - Tim and Eric
2. Game of Pricks - Guided by Voices
3. Maple Leaf Rag - Scott Joplin
4. Crown on the Ground - Sleigh Bells
5. The Rat - Walkmen
6. Shame on a Nigga - Wu Tang Clan
7. Only Shallow - My Bloody Valentine
8. 21st Century Schizoid Man - King Crimson
9. That's How I Escaped My Certain Fate - Mission of Burma
10. Colossus - Thomas Bangalter

unless I'm on a field trip on which I make playlists with songs most people can listen to, I mostly listen to albums...

so lately it's been...
Joanna Newsom-Ys
Liars-Drum's Not Dead
Clinic-Internal Wrangler
Tim Buckley-Lorca
Nicolas Jaar-Space Is Only Noise

I've also got a bedtime playlist I've been listening to, which includes...
Emily-Joanna Newsom
Such Great Heights-Iron and Wine
Baby Birch- Joanna Newsom

4Minute is a great group! They have such a good feel for the Motown style groove... a lot more on their Korean album 4 Minutes Left, than on their Japanese release DIAMOND. They are beginning to catch on in Japan too, I hear...

Maybe we need a K-Pop thread? 😁

My top 20 most listened on iTunes is literally only Beach Boys and Weezer songs. 😄
Then again, I don't really listen to music through iTunes or my iPod that much, and I've reset the play count a lot.
Mainly it's new albums through Rhapsody.

I'm afraid I have never left the US, but thank you so much for asking.
I did want to work for Eikaiwa in Hokkaido several years ago, though... it just never happened. I would love to hear about your life in Korea, and I really do mean that sincerely. Please feel free to PM me, or we could begin conversation in a separate topic if you prefer.

Thank you for being here! 😁

I reset my i-tunes playcount 2-3 months ago because almost the entire top 25 was made up of songs from either Return to Cookie Mountain or The Holy Bible. Unfortunately my discovery of Swans combined with a couple musical binges on certain albums means the new list still is sort-of dominated by a few bands:

1.You Know Nothing- Swans
2.She is Beyond Good and Evil- The Pop Group
3.Poppy- Tv on the Radio
4.The Most Unfortunate Lie- Swans
5.Chasing a Bee- Mercury Rev
6.A Treatise Dedicated to the Avian Airess from North East Nubis- Shabazz Palaces
7.Kyrie- Popol Vuh
8.Hosianna Mantra- Popol Vuh
9.Better than You- Swans
10.Love will Save you- Swans
11.Sweet Sweet Bulbs- Captain Beefheart
12.Apt. A (1)- Clouddead
13.In California- Joanna Newsom
14.Thief of Fire- The Pop Group
15.Power and Sacrifice- Swans
16.Failure- Swans
17.Fake Palindromes- Andrew Bird
18.Masterfade- Andrew Bird
19.Apt. A. (2)- Clouddead
20.Ah!- Popol Vuh
21.Song for the Sun- Swans
22.Miracle of Love- Swans
23.Province- Tv on the Radio
24.Playhouses- Tv on the Radio
25.Tonight- Tv on the Radio
