haha as a Canadian I guess you would pretty much have to like that choice...Live It Out By Metric is also an amazing album. Quite the underrated band.

I even find critics underrate that band, let alone the absence of their music from the public. REALLY REALLY good band. Gimme Sympathy is one of my favourite songs ever.

Live It Out is also a great album, but I think Fantasies is their masterpiece.

Never could get into the Beatles, Pink Floyd, etc. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that by the time I was old enough to go back and listen to these older bands, their music had aged too much and I just didn't and still don't like that sound all that much. Zeppelin is my all time favorite band, and personally I don't think their music has aged much at all, thats what makes them so amazing.

nothing wrong with you chart at all - actually its the first chart on here i've seen that would be closest to what mine would be. I grew up with '90's music and love so much from that decade, but don't rule out older bands all together. I used to feel the same, but in the last few years as i've gotten older i've found i enjoy more and more music from previous decades, i'm currently seeking out music from way back in the 1950's - the birth of Rock N Roll and all the best blues music i've heard dates from this period or earlier....

Oh yeah I definitely don't rule out older music entirely. I do have a pretty good deal of older stuff, but its not near the top besides Zeppelin. I really like the Doors, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Elton John, Hendrix, older Jazz etc. But The Beatles is always the glaring absence on my chart. I respect the hell out of them for their profound influence, but I just can't get into their music as much as I try. But like you say I guess I'll never totally give up, maybe the older I get the more i'll like it.
