You can only edit comments where it is the latest comment in a thread. This was by design to preserve the flow of conversation.

1. Not sure why that issue would still be occurring - have you tried viewing each icon directly? (this will force icons to be cached correctly)

(if these don't show up for you - click on the link underneath each icon (and refresh your browser if icon doesn't display - this will update your browser cache).
There may be other icons on the site that I haven't listed above. If there are, paste the URL of each icon in your browser address bar and refresh your browser to update your local browser cache.

2. Comments can't be deleted in bulk - this is to preserve flow of discussion (comments can be individually reported/deleted if requested).
