The origin is a bit more complex.

Basically, my older brother and I were big fans of Pee Wee's Playhouse growing up. My brother eventually did some solo recordings and slapped "Mecca Lecca Recording Co" on the label, so when I started my label, I paid homage to my brother's influence on me by continuing the Mecca Lecca name.

I'm always in trouble when it comes to finding a username. I randomly pick something which comes to my mind. When I listen to music while I register, it's often the name of the album or a song from it. This happenned when I registered here on BEA. I was listening to Parklife and thought TracyJacks would be an ok name.

"sp4cetiger" is just a handle I came up with some 10 years ago and have continued to use for the sake of convenience -- my memory is awful, so I mostly use one username for everything. I didn't put a lot of thought into it: "space" because I'm an astronomer and "tiger" was the mascot of the school I was attending at the time. I used the four because "spacetiger" was already taken on whatever site I first used it on.

My old username: IrishMusichead. It was generic and it was all the things that I knew about myself, I'm Irish and I thought I could be smug enough to say I was a music head, that proved me wrong.
