I thought Simulation Theory was an improvement over Drones and The 2nd Law. I consider myself a big Muse fan and I think "Won't Stand Down" seems like it would've fit in well with Drones, though nowhere near the quality of their early 00s output. It's solid though, I enjoy it. Not as hyped as I was after "Dig Down", the first single from Simulation Theory (which let me down with the second single "Thought Contagion").

I think pretty much anything's an improvement on their last album. This was an ok single, pretty heavy for them. Hated the verses, tho. It's better than some post 2nd Law stuff, but not by much in my opinion.

May it be their best since "Uprising" or am I too hyped?
For sure the bridge is their heaviest in a long time...
