The voting should definitely be song vs song, like Hayden said. Don't think musicoed's vote will matter though, as Anything leads by a lot. Just something to keep in mind in the future.

I have already admitted that I am biased negatively.
But I was wrong when I promised that I would try to be objective.
There is some contradiction in this.

Adrianne Lenker - anything
It would seem that these two performers have little in common.
But I also do not understand the super popularity of this project.
Obviously, the inflamed image hides the inner drama.
But now I don't have to check it in translations of the lyrics.

I’m still really impressed by Posing in Bondage. Every note seems so right. I like Anything but not as much as the Brekkie track here.

utterly. fucking. BRUTAL.

Not a tough choice, in the end. "anything" is not just one of my noms. It may be a top 10 song of all time for me. It's hard to express how much I adore every single second of this song and the album it is on.

Honestly if "Posing in Bondage" was against any of the other songs here including my other 2 nominations, I would probably vote for it. It's just a sublime and vulnerable track off an album on my overall chart. The difference is "anything" is my favorite track on a top 10 album all time for me, whereas "Posing in Bondage" is *onllllyyy* my second fave song on a top 100 album for me.

So, yes, Brutal to see either go. But Lenker gets my vote.
