I'm still non-plussed by the Innocence Mission track so going for the (intentionally disaffected) fun of Chaise Longue even if I think it's more than a tad overhyped

I'm surprised either of these songs got this far tbh. But "Chaise Longue" is solid, very much enjoyed the full album.

Wet Leg - Chaise Longue
In the last tour, I supported the track without delving into the lyrics, a successful video provided an advantage.
The rivalry on this tour forced me to familiarize myself with the content of the song.
It did not bring additional points, to say the least.

Innocence Mission - On Your Side
On the last tour, I fenced off the track with a lack of musical interest.
But the lyrical theme coincided with my feelings, and I supported the missionaries.
This time the stakes were up and I had to take a closer look at my notes.
It turned out that I got acquainted with the album at the time of its release in January 2020.
At the same time, I chose two test tracks, one of which is On Your Side.
This is the first single that presented the album on 29/X-2019, but it doesn't matter.
It is important that in 2020 it seemed to me that I would explode from the amount of music.
In 2022 the stream doubled and I really wouldn't listen to Innocence Mission.
But in this sparring, the track wins a clear victory.

Seriously need to revisit that Innocence Mission album, perhaps it's better than I remember, because On Your Side is a top tier song from 2020. That being said, I wouldn't mind seeing Chaise Longue go through either, lovely tune as well.
