Very much so.

I find this list really interesting in part because it is diverse yet has virtually nothing in common with familiar lists to me — nor with my own chart.

When I studied it closely, I noticed how few albums and artists it had in common with all the “best albums” charts I have compiled on an Excel file at home, even when artists with related personnel are counted as one as I prefer to do:

Moreover, 75 of this chart’s 100 albums are by artists not in any of those above lists! I counted 59 — a quite impressive number — from my own chart, but recognise that the number for my own chart is flattering because of the classical and ethnic recordings contained in it, and because one album — Unit Structures — is listed by Scaruffi in his list of greatest jazz albums.

I agree, deleting it would be a bit of a travesty. Apparently there was an earlier thread on this too, and I kind of blew right past it... I'll post something more substantive about this there.

In honour of ignorance, please allow Le' Ywei Sin Tei Mya to stay on the website. Because of the lack of information surrounding the album, I don't even think we know if it's a bootleg or not. I mean... it was certainly released. Just because there's a lack of documentation around it doesn't make it not an album.
