*sigh* I love Purple Rain as an album but I voted against A Hard Day's Night (Aside from one vote sale which I haven't redeemed yet 🤔 ) because it was more an album than a soundtrack...and even though Purple Rain was directly written for the film (rather than being a marketing strategy like HDN) I'm voting for Ennio because he and the soundtrack are amazing (GBU is better though 😉 ).
