I'm not drunk just woozy off nyquil so idk if I can post here but I need to talk about my ridiculously enlightening drive home tonight. My ipod couldn't connect to my car because it's old as shit and that happens sometimes so I had to turn the radio on. Which sucks because the only halfway decent station near me is this adult contemporary station. They played some new song by Sting, like who knew that was a thing, and then they said the next song was by Radiohead and I was like hey that could be alright. So it tried to impress myself by guessing the song as soon as possible but after 10 seconds I still had no idea what it was. So I was like shit is there a Radiohead song I haven't heard but then I realized it was fucking creep which I forgot existed. So I was like huh I must be more of a musical elitist than I thought if I can't recognize fucking creep.

But the more enlightening part was when I realized I just can't take fucking creep seriously anymore. Like the only way I can interpret it is as sarcastic because that level of putting someone you're attracted to on a pedestal and feeling like a loser is super foreign to me now. Five years ago I was lying in bed playing fucking creep in my head because of some person or another but now I can't help but smile at the "she's running through the door" part because the image of a woman literally running away from some guy with no self esteem is hilarious. Glad to see that I've grown and have some semblance of self respect now. If fucking creep currently speaks to you I hope you too can reach this level of inner peace.

Also that new Sting song wasn't even mediocre it was way better than fucking creep.
