Easily the best Coldplay album...while i like all their following albums as well, i'm not impressed with Xylo Milo or whatever it's called - sounds too much like the pop crap on the radio, they need to strip everything back to the basics for the next album!

Every new coldplay album is worst than the one before. It's a good thing that they started with this one, amazing record, "don't panic" is a kick ass song. It's embarrasing how good this is against Mylo Xyloto

A strong debut. One of their lesser efforts but nonetheless effective. As loveless said "chill". They are quite far from this sound now but that's probably a good thing.

My second favourite Coldplay album.

Yellow is an obvious favourite, but Spies is also excellent.

This is the side of Coldplay I'd like to see come back...but I don't think that'll ever happen 🙁

My favourite Coldplay album. Love the mood throughout. Melodies as catchy as on their next album(s), but it's the atmosphere that makes it so good to me. Laid back.. "Cool"...
I think this could be a great album to listen to while driving in the night. Have to try it sometimes.

Track picks - Don't Panic, Spies, Sparks, Trouble (but I could pick pretty much any other song on a different day)
