I have no idea. Maybe you can e-mail them and ask them. All I know is that I do like a lot of the music they play on that station. My tastes are different from most people's tastes on the site, and I like a lot of that music. Not all of it, of course.

Anyway, AccuRadio has many more stations to choose from and you can even blend stations if you want to. I also use Pandora and once in a while, Live365 Radio. Live 365 used to be better than it is now. They used to let you give a thumbs up or thumbs down to all the songs played there, but they haven't been doing that since they came back online.

Yes, you can see what you've listened to. Go to settings and then you can click on "View Song History" or "View Rated Songs" to see the songs you've rated. There's also a "Five Star Radio" station of just your top rated tracks (Though it includes my 4 star rated songs too.) You can also blend stations by clicking on the blend button. That's a nice feature. And they have a large selection of stations and that includes some genres you don't usually find on websites of this type like Hawaiian, Lounge / Exotica, and even a One Song Radio station featuring only the song "The Girl From Ipanema", with many different versions of this classic song.

I've also tried Soma.fm. They don't have the large number of stations that AccuRadio has. I don't like most of their stations, but I do enjoy their Illinois Street Lounge station.

Well, obviously Animal Tracks is the best AccuRadio station, though I've found that most of the tracks only have animal references in the titles, and sometimes the lyrics, rather than sounds made by actual animals incorporated into the music itself. Still, it's better than nothing. If there's a station/channel that only plays tracks with actual animal sounds, I haven't found it (yet). But that's probably a "minor quibble," for most people. (I mean, y'know, "normal" people.)

It's ad-supported, and the audio quality is low-rez, but it does let you click the skip button as much as you want without some sort of "penalty," which is nice. There also appears to be no way to view a list of what you've been hearing, much less what's coming up, but that won't be a dealbreaker in most cases. It's a good option for listening on a phone or a tablet. Most of the available material is fairly commercial, if not extremely so, but that's probably to be expected on an ad-supported streamer.

Also, they're based in Chicago, so they're probably Cubs fans. I'm just sayin'.
