Firefly (so obvious I’m embarrassed mentioning it but at least it got a feature film send off so…….)

Santa clarita diet - brilliantly written and performed. Timothy olyphant was so good

I’d also go for heroes and V and Deadwood.

All series that I think finished far too early

Seconding this. To not only end the show but also wipe it from the servers was the ultimate insult.

Me & my kids LOVED this show. Only got to watch the first 2 seasons. 🤔 >

Worse. There's FOUR seasons. All of them wiped.

I can see HBO cancelling a show but why wiped? I don't understand.

Something to do with taxes. So stupid. D:

So much of the world is just Ick rn. THAT is just sooo icky. Maybe AI has already taken over because that's just soulless. Thank God James Gunn is now in charge of the DCU. I can at least geek out about that. Superman was the best superhero movie in a long, long time. My twelve year old is a sworn enemy of Superman, and even she LOVED it! 😎

I love Early Edition. It had 4 seasons, but I wish it would have had more. There was no other show like it either, still isn't. It was a unique show.

Z: The Beginning of Everything. Except it wasn’t the beginning of all that much as Amazon cancelled after one season. Bummer.

The thing that most bothers me is when they green-light some sort of "X-Files"-inspired science fiction series about an unexplained world-changing supernatural "event," usually involving time travel, aliens, or both, and then cancel it after one season before they even fully explain what happened.

Just to name a few examples, there's Flash Forward, Alcatraz, The Event, and Threshold.

Then there are series that are genuinely terrible, like Manifest, which should never been green-lighted at all. But noooooo, that one went on for four long, brutally-mediocre seasons and still didn't completely explain what all the fuss was about.

Oh well... If I were smart, I'd just stop watching TV altogether. Albums are better! 😜

Yeah it is tragic sometimes, network execs are the devil

In order of how personally devastated I feel/felt

Don't Trust the B---- In Apartment 23
Carmen Sandiego (Netflix)
Infinity Train
The Owl House
Gilmore Girls
Twin Peaks
The Muppets 2015 (I'll die on this hill, that show was hilarious)
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
Veronica Mars
Hannibal
Santa Clarita Diet

(Honourable mention to Derry Girls and The Good Place which didn't end too early but I was still sad when they finished)

I hate that The Glades was never given the proper send off in 2013 on the A&E network.

God bless you and the cast members always!!!

Holly

P.S. Who the heck shot Jim Longworth???!!!

Well, this one, of course. One season and gone. And it was so good.

I hate it when I get into a tv show and it gets cancelled. Just watched Primo (Amazon freebee) and I was gutted to read it did not get renewed.

Other notables: Great News; Joe Pera Talks with You; Firefly (this seems the one that comes up a lot); GLOW

So much crap tv goes on forever. How could they let go of these great shows?!!

Which shows do you think got cancelled too soon?
