A glaring error - I forgot to mention and no one else mentioned:

THE BREAKFAST CLUB!!!

Dammit, that's probably the best soundtrack of all time and none of us thought of it, even while coming close with Pretty in Pink. 🤡 I'm sure Sixteen Candles had a pretty good soundtrack too, as did Fast Times at Ridgemont High. And Highlander's soundtrack was awesome even if it was exclusively by Queen.

I don't agree that Beatles albums qualify as soundtracks, if we're talking about the British ones. If it's the American A Hard Day's Night and Help! then sure, but the British one's stand as entities apart from the movies themselves.
