Video - I hate to say that playing in the background on 4 Music on New Year's Day was 4Music's "Number Ones Of The 00s"... so it was My Love Don't Cost A Thing by JENNIFER LOPEZ! I know, ignore me now...

First album of the year: Sufjan Steven's Illinois on vinyl right now.
First video of the year: According to my browser history, after I got home this morning at the ungodly hour it was, I immediately watched the following video. It's awesomely gay.

I didn't really think about it at the time but the first song I listened to was "Haven Knows I'm Miserable Now". What a depressing way to start the year! I wish I listened to something more optimistic.
