More pop than disco it’s OK but pretty forgettable for me I’m afraid. Can’t really think of much more to say about it TBH.

Bad Girls

This was not on my radar in 1979 by apparently it was a huge hit, and you can see why. Very catchy with a Pull Up To The Bumper vibe going on.

Got a great funky / soul / disco vibe which I appreciate far more now than I did in ’79.

Such a late '70's video as well

Yeh, I hadn't appreciated that it's a double album until it was picked by the group. In fact, I really know very little about the album apart from the singles, so going to enjoy getting to know it a little better.

Not sure that I'll get through all of the tracks before my group meets but giving it a damn good try

This double album had two good sides. I don't know why she had so many double albums when they hardly had enough good material for one. I think she had four double albums. Side 4 of this album is the electronic side and it's the best side, as usual. And then side one is pretty good too. Another side was just all slow songs. I actually had this album on vinyl so that's why I always think of it as having sides. Hot Stuff and the title song are the best songs other than side four.

Hot Stuff

A far more R&B / soul oriented song than Donna’s disco days and all the best for that. I have to admit that I obviously knew this song but couldn’t have placed who performed.
Great beat, great vocals, very catchy and a great, almost rock orientated guitar solo.

I must admit the synth keyboards grate a little but overall an excellent start to Bad Girls

Just heard this recently and it grew on me. Plenty of fun, up-tempo disco bangers on sides A, B, and D. If not for a forgettable C side of mediocre ballads, it would be a stone-cold classic. As is, a great record in spite of the filler.

Definitely will Hayden. One of the key things about the listening group is to hear stuff that you would not necessarily gravitate towards. Looking forward to giving this one a go
