Are Univers Zero from Belgium, or are they french? I'm not a great fan of them, but they're somewhat "interesting".

Interesting to see no-one's mentioned Soulwax/2 Many DJs yet... which is doubly interesting seeing as they have a mix to help you all discover a load of Belgian curios you'd never have otherwise found. A trailer follows.

I've only listened to 2 full albums from belgium: peter van hoersen and Natasha Atlas if this one counts. And of course alot of hits and single songs (axel red, brel...etc) from TV and radio.

I suppose France's favourite Belgian artist is Jacques Brel (or Johnny Hallyday! 🤣 ). I'm not much into him myself, I must say, but I know a lot of fine people who think he was a great artist (Jacques, not Johnny).

Yes, dEUS is good. I also like Sharko (Feuded & Meeuws 2 are good records), The Names were a good Belgian postpunk band, a bit too referential maybe. I can enjoy a moderate dose of Girls In Hawaii as well.
However my favorite Belgian album (In A Bar, Under The Sea aside) is probably Berchem/Trap by Dead Man Ray.
