I like the imagery in Thunder Road better and the way it starts off slow and mellow and builds toward a climax, but Born to Run is a more exciting song, and it has that catchy little chiming riff after each chorus: da da da da..... da, da. That little riff totally makes the song!

Every other artist in the universe would have said "from your front porch to my BACK seat".

This is the genius of Bruce.

Did you know that you can't spell "The Boss" Bruce "Boss" Springsteen without B-O-R-N-T-O-R-U-N

😲

I find them both overrated. Yes they are similar, because he mumbles them in the same way

Personally, Thunder Road reminds me more of Jungleland.

Of course, that's because the album was meant to mirror itself from the first half to the second half.

You listened to the songs before Jackwc? If so, do you think they sound pretty similar?

We're discussing conspiracies that Bruce Springsteen made, most likely, unintentionally.

Dur. 😎

It dawned on me today that... well they are both the same really. You know, the same motorcycle. Same seat. Same dark dreams. Same topic. Sort of...

Born To Run.
Thunder Road.

BTR
TR

"Oh Thunder Road, Oh Thunder Road"

OTR

Second letter of Born is 'O'

OTR
OTR

OTR...?

Out There Really?
Out The Rut?
Our Train Rides? Like as in escaping the town and making it big elsewhere with the girl?

Am I the only one who thinks they have a similar theme?
