I love this album. Even the non-singles were hits.

It's almost perfect, aside from the last two tracks (which are still alright).
Although, that reprise of The Stranger's whistling melody is brilliant.

To me, Billy Joel's music has not aged well at all. I have a harder time listening to him every year.

And for me, the best song on The Stranger is "Vienna".

About two years ago, this used to be one of my favorite albums ever. There's hardly any filler, yet so much emotion.

Personally, I think that "Only the Good Die Young" is one of the best songs of the seventies.

Yes!!! I love this album so much.

The whistled passage at the end of the whole album that reprises the opening of the title track is just awe inspiring.

Other highlights include "Just the way You Are," "Vienna," and of course, "Scenes From an Italian Resteraunt."
