Absolutely terrible. However, when 'Turn My Swag On' comes on in a club, I do dance like an absolute fool. It's music for people to dance to - on that front, it works. Gets unfairly criticised by people wishing for a return to 'Golden era' boom bap hip-hop, when the real problem is that these people just don't take the time to go out and find the good hip-hop that still does get made. No better or worse than the likes of Gary Glitter, or the Archies, or the Spice Girls. It's for children and innebriated teens, stop pretending it's not.

Come on, guys. Soulja Boy's just a kid trying to have fun. Sure, he's never made music on the level of, let's say, Ready to Die, but he's leagues better than any of the other autotuned crap that dominates the radio.

Personally, I would give his debut album as much as an 8.0, and his sophomore album as much as a 7.5.

It doesn't get any worse than Soulja Boy.A complete waste of space.Discraceful noise pollution straight out of Hell.Just another in a long line recently of no talent fools who become famous because of tweens who wouldn't know good music even if it bit them in the ass.Just when I think it can't get any worse this idiot comes along and manages to accelerate the ruination of music with his fertilizer some brain dead species of warm blooded vertebrates have the gall to label as music.I would much prefer to have an iron stake driven through my scull than have to endure listening to Soulja Boy ever again.

Oh yeah, I wasn't actually questioning the rhyming, moreso the obscure links from phrase to phrase. To think that the word mannequin would be linked to panic attacks, xanax and Japan is hilarious imo!

The thing I like about Em, and other rappers that use multisyllable rhymes, is that he plays off of the similar, and more emphasized anyway, vowel sounds and that's why rhyming "attacks" with "ass" works, when he puts them in multisyllable rhymes with similar "a" sounds. Vowels naturally stick out when we hear words. I'm sure you get all of this, telefunker, but I just wanted to clear up the difference between that and something like making "apologizing" sound like "apoligin'". It's like Karl Pilkington's Rockbusters.
