I also give this one a thumbs up though not sure where I ranked it in top 100 (if at all, but if not that's an oversight). My favorite on it is Dark of the Matinee, but also love all the tracks others have mentioned...there's a couple of "blahs" on it, but nothing bad.

One of my favourite albums of 2000s. First album I reviewed (small street press magazine) and always go back to listen to this. Too many great tracks to list. I love them all!

Great, great album. Like a harder version of the Strokes, and therefore better. #67 on my chart.

I can claim with a lot of confidence that "take me out" is one of best rock songs ever, but that's the only really good song of the album (well Auf Achse is pretty good too).

Take Me Out is a great song 😁 One of the best of the 00's

It's a decent album overall, #94 on my 00's chart.

Haven't actually given this a listen for a while 🤔 Might do that soon.

interesting; never made that comparison before, but you're right. Franz Ferdinand owe a lot to Led Zep, actually. to U2, as well.
