Echo's Heaven Up Here was released in 1981.

I think perhaps people consider the Echo cover cliché because so many people have referenced it or copied it (i.e. Starsailor). But, and I could be wrong, I think this was the original? In that case, I don't think it would be cliché, but the others almost certainly were. I think if it had been released now, it would be, but given that it was 30 years ago, not so much.
