I'm becoming slightly desillusioned with this whole tournament thing.
People vote for (and nominate) the album they like the best no matter what the tournament is about.

I guess I was a fool for expecting otherwise...

I tried not too... (with my nominations as well as my votes). 😕

For many many years I have bought albums based on their artwork (not in all case but some) so chances are I will like the artwork of albums I like because that has influenced my choice in the first place... so I am not sure quite how objective I am being... but I AM trying

Sorry, I was just bitter because my pick lost to a fruit that round...

(And then I saw that THIS album won here, which I consider to be one of the worst in the tournament.)

I like the Jackson Pollockiness of all the Roses early cover art...

I have always been a bit creeped out by Kraftwerk's teutonic approach to album covers.

So I went with Jackson Pollock over totalitarian posters!

P.S.
Does Naples know we're voting for the album covers?

I'm sure he doesn't. He's just voting for the popular ALBUM, it seems.

Yeah 😐 I actually think it's one of the lamest album covers ever. No joke. I'm surprised it was nominated :?

Agreed. Well not SO surprised, since many people seem to just have nominated their favourite albums anyway (and I guess I'm a bit guilty of that aswell ).

I nominated 3 of my fave albums. I'm starting to think that the cover greatly affects my opinion of an album....... 😨

Anyway, in this case Kraftwerk obviously wins.

If you include the bit where I quoted of your text as well, you will see I highlighted the genre...

What I meant is The Stone Roses isn't really rock
