If it wasn't the month the new Shins album was coming out, that would be interesting. But no way in hell am I waiting to listen to that one.

sure why not, i don't listen to many new albums until later on in the year anyway.

i do have to make an exception for the new springsteen album though.

Anyone else want to do this?

I mean, we all have hundreds (or for some of you, thousands) of albums in our collection that we never get to listen to. It's great to take a short break from buying new music and just focus on what's in your collection now.

This is what I'm planning on doing.

EDIT: This isn't something you need to follow religiously. If your friend suggests you something, or you find an album you've been looking for for years in the $1 bargain bin, it's completely okay that you give it a chance. It's just a goal to keep in mind, in a way.
