Weezer is definitely top of the pile for me. Their 1st and Pinkerton are all-time classics, and i really love the Green album, thought Maladroit was even better, but unfortunately I then bought 'Make Believe' which was a horrendous turd of an album. I haven't bothered with any of their other albums since, and from what I've heard they've got progressively worst with each one!
Another big disappoint for me was the Pumpkins 'Zeitgeist'. I was genuinely excited about this album - a new pumpkins album with the 2 members that could actually play! but aside from 2 or 3 songs, it was a major snore-fest and the layering of Billy's vocals were annoying bordering on unlistenable. Although he did redeem himself a little with Teargarden By Kaleidyscope, it's not exactly the pumpkins with only 1 original member remaining (when did SP become the new GnR?) Hopefully their release this year, which Billy has already declared 'one of the best SP albums' will prove me wrong.....fingers crossed!

Not due to their last album, but certainly the last I bought since it was enough to turn me off of them: Smashing Pumpkins. Zeitgeist was simply horrid.

Well you aren't missing much. Obviously you have to listen to decide for yourself but the last two albums are pretty terrible. Plus judging by your taste I think it's a safe bet you won't enjoy either album. Light Grenades at least has a few good tracks though. They'll never come close to Make Yourself, Morning View, or Science again by the looks of it.

The last album wasn't a bad one plus the one before that, 'Vapor Trails', had some good material.
Although if I was to rate every Rush album 'Snakes and Arrows' would end in the bottom half of the list.

I couldn't agree more with Weezer and Incubus. I thought Weezer's Red Album was great, but the last two are a complete waste of time. I remember listening to the first single off of Incubus' last album, and not being interested, so I am glad I saved the time of not listening to it.

I wouldn't say Rolling Stones' last album was their worst. I like to hear that album, because it is an old band recorded with newer recording techniques. Division Bell is pretty weak, but I am not the biggest fan of Pink Floyd, so I don't feel it is my place to say.

Piebald was awesome up until The Only Friends That We Have. I think recording in a big studio and "selling out" if you even want to call it that since they weren't popular enough to do so, ruined them.

If you would have caught me at the time that U2's No Line on the Horizon was released, I would have said they have gone the way of the Stones. How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb had a line-up of 6 good songs, followed up by pure crap, minus the one step closer to knowing song. No Line disappointed me because although every song (minus Magnificant) was great, it just felt like an odd collection of music in random order instead of a solid, well thought out U2 album as delivered in the past.

The Beatles' Let It Be is not crap at all. I do wish that the long and winding road from Let It Be...Naked was replaced, but other than that, I dig.
I don't think Division Bell is a bad album; it sounds like a more or less OK Genesis album (I'm plagiarizing someone with that comment). However, if Division Bell were Pink Floyd's only work, nobody would be talking about them.

The same thing applies to A Bigger Bang. If were the Stones' first or only album no one would care.

hahaha dude that's a perfect review of that album. Pretty much everything you said I agree with totally. I also have Morning View on my 90's chart. I have Make Yourself in my overall chart, I think in the 20's, as I think it's a masterpiece. Science was a great album as well. But just as you said, with each progressive album after Morning View they've taken a step back, and a few leaps back with this last one. Crow Left Of The Murder was still at least enjoyable. Light Grenades had a few great tracks mixed in with quite a bit of shit. And If Not Now, When? is just a giant pile of shit (Adolescents is the only song I even marginally like). So I've officially jumped ship on a band that used to be one of my absolute favorites.
