Epic achievement by Zep.

I must disagree with Naples about the best track though. That would be this song with superior lyrics, guitar, drums, bass, and vocals. Just my opinion please don't squash Heremes 😨

I like it... I like it alot. ...and I also like III. Led Zeppelin's Achilles' heel is the fact that they always have one or two tracks two many on an album. This one fits that trend.

I do believe that Led Zeppelin were very talented musicians. However, I dislike most of their songs mainly because many of them are overplayed (which is why III is my favorite LZ album) and also because they stole from blues musicians. I do respect them for their talent. And I do like the song "The Rover".

Pearljammer you are right on. Even if it doesn't fit your taste, they are one of those bands that demands respect. Undeniable talent and influence. My personal favorites here: Black Country Woman, Custard Pie, Kashmir.

Like I said I know it's not for everyone, but honestly you can't at least appreciate the talent exhibited thoughout this album, and it's influence? Some ridiculously good riffs, as always great solos, showcases John Paul Jones' talent on the keyboards, great vocals, great variety. I can understand not thinking it's great, I just can't understand having no respect for it at all.

I don't like the Beatles, but I would never deny their talent or say one of their albums sucks, they just aren't for me. But whatever bro, it sucks. Zeppelin sucks man, no redeeming qualities anywhere in their music. Terrible songwriting. That's why they never influenced anyone and you never hear their music anymore.

Definitely had the potential to be Zep's best album. Unfortunately, Night Flight, Boogie with Stu, Black Country, Woman, and Sick Again kind of ruin that. The entire first disc is practically flawless (Custard Pie and In My Time of Dying certainly could have been better, but they're still pretty great) and the first four tracks and The Wanton Song off the second disc are incredible.

Still, I'd probably rank this as Zep's 3rd best (behind Houses of the Holy and LZII).
