I think Purple Rain is still fairly high up in the charts; I agree that he doesn't seem to have the same kind of pull as someone like Michael Jackson, which is a shame since MJ actually took a lot of his steez from Prince once the '80s rolled around.

Meh, I've never really listened to any of his stuff. Like, I know the hits and that's about it. Never listened to a full album by the guy.

I'm not what you can really call an old school rocker, but I think Guns 'n' Roses are awesome, AC/DC too, both made a few really great albums 😄 Hmm, Boston.......like their debut.

A buddy of mine is a moderator for this and said that I should join. I'm really big into 70's and 80's styled rock/blues rock/hard rock/glam rock (I can tell that I will get some flack for this). If anyone is really interested in AC/DC, GNR, Boston, The Donna's etc. give me a shout.
