I don't know what it is about Coldplay's Politik (The first song off "A Rush of Blood to the Head," maybe it's the time in my life I first heard it, but it still gets me just about every time.

I have to agree with CD here, "And in my dreams you're alive and you're crying" is probably one of the most moving sentences I've heard in my life.

This song comes from a danish band, it only appears as a hidden track on one of their albums, so you really shouldn't know it already.

Typically, songs that make me cry do some for sentimental reasons. Benediction by The Weakethans, for example, always makes me sad, but it's mostly for the personal memories I associate with that song.
