Yeh, I'm exaggerating on the term 'up-and-comer', but this was based upon Eggman's statement "If more people listen to her, and like it very much, then who knows, maybe she will slowly creep up to fame." (which I doubt really, if she's been releasing music for 20 years)

Acknowledge her? That's still the same.

As I said, you never know with these things, really.

I know what you mean, but the term 'up-and-comer' is a bit of an exaggeration. Lisa Germano has a better discography that Joni too, simply because Joni only have about 5 albums worth listening to, and Lisa has about the same. Except Lisa's are better.

I was totally with what you were saying until this ignorant statement. I can only assume you have never listened to Lisa Germano, nor know anything about her. She's been releasing music for over 20 years.

Unfair, they both are legendary greats.

But I don't know of any Joni Mitchell album that's as good as Geek The Girl, so I'm voting for Lisa Germano now.

I think Lisa might need a bit of help though, so I'll vote for her.

I'll do that too. I feel closer to Germano's work because I listened to her when she broke through, so she's sort of a familiar long-time companion, but I'll admit that Mitchell's work is grander all in all. I'll help Germano.
