It isn't. A Day in the Life, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds and Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band are among the best songs in the history of human race!

Thought you said the Roots... I got all excited and rushed back to the list to have a look. Instead, Roots Manuva... not as exciting.

Ridiculous choices at the top of this list but some really good albums here, some of my favourites involved so can't complain. Some stupid recent choices though, Adele, Tinie Tempah, Mumford and Sons, Take That, Elbow etc.

Redeemed by Unknown Pleasures, Stone Roses, Disintegration, Fat Of The Land, Blue Lines, Screamadelica.

Can't believe The Streets, Dizzee and Roots all make it aswell, that's mainly what stopped me slating this list.

Well, as far as lists made through polls go, this could be a lot worse I guess.

Still, typical complaints:
A bit too much Beatles worship
Lots of terrible faceless albums with no artistic worth whatsoever (insert whatever you dislike here)
Useless modern choices (Adele, Mumford and Sons)
Choices like Kid A proves people can like experimental stuff, but they stubbornly refuse embrace it unless its marketed to them a mass level...makes me sad 🙁

On a positive note The Specials, The Manic Street Preachers Holy Bible and the streets are not bad things to include.
