Nahh, I know BEA has a problem with there being a sort of clique, and yeah some of those members do overstep the line a bit when calling out other members, but there's plenty of room on BEA for members with different opinions. I don't think it's different opinions that are what people are moaning about right now though, more just the meaningless threads and posts we've seen recently.

I don't think it should be a site-wide close... just take a self-imposed 1 week hiatus. I've done that on other forums I used, and it worked pretty well.

Plus, there'll be all new threads to browse through.

tbh, there have been very few bans considering the size of the membership (16,000 accounts). The types of things that have led to bans are racist comments, being threatening to other members, spamming the board (and I mean SPAMMING). The site rules are there to help provide an environment where people here can have a decent conversation. Banning people is always a last resort.
