Shit. I was doing my best to not see that specific album cover and you, bastards, put it right here. Congratulations. Anyway, it's remarkable how death is an useful art topic. You should check out David's painting "the Death of Marat" for instance, or most of the paintings by Caravaggio which oftenly depict beheaded people, such as "Head of Medusa" or "Judith beheading Holofernes" or "Salome with the head of John the Baptist". That dude was sick but he was so talented.

I'm not a fan of this one but it is slightly interesting i guess... Metallica's "Load" and "Reload". The covers make use of blood & semen and blood & urine.
There is another album cover by a european black metal band whose name is lost on me right now, but they used a photo of one band members suicide with a shotgun.

Wow! that cover reminds me to an album from Peaches which name i don't remember. It also reminds me to the Strokes first album. It seems like female crotch is a useful theme for a cover. 😜 🫢 😈
