i'm writing lines tonight to "Koala's Lament" by Lovage. I've only just recently started doing rap battles with friends at parties and flowing over beats while on the way to work.

Just in conjunction with what Jhereko said in the BYT thread, I'm going to go through the last lot of first round matches of this tournament over the next 9-10 days. After the first round is over, this tournament will be on hiatus whilst the BYT is running. It leaves it at a decent point (64 rappers left), and nobody will get confused about 2 tournaments running concurrently. Also I'm in the process of moving house, so it will suit me to let this tournament sit for a while anyway until I've bedded in. Sorry to everyone who's been enjoying this tournament, but I think everyone agrees it's better to let the BYT tournament go ahead considering the user participation and general inclusivity of it. Also, it means the majority of really obscure (or extremely shit) rappers will have been weeded out, and when the tournament returns it will consist of generally more interesting matchups.

Thanks everyone who's voted so far, and please continue to do so over the next week and a half.

And then we can get back to the BYT, where I'm gonna whup all your asses with my immense 1994 team. 😉
